Think your sperm don’t mutate as you age? Think again! This video will change your mind about where defects come from.


In the past, we’ve blamed birth disorders on aging eggs within the mother, but sperm in older men, as it replicates more, gets poses risks for disorders in children born from older fathers.

CNN’s The Chart blog says:

Compared to younger fathers, older fathers’ children were found to be significantly more at risk for a host of psychiatric disorders, according to the study, published Wednesday in the journal JAMA Psychiatry
