Get the most out of Jamba Juice

Do you know how much I used to love Jamba Juice?!

So much, I would have done FLIPS for it.

FLIPS. JUST LIKE THIS.

But, notice I said “loved.” As in past tense.

I thought Jamba Juice was great for me. Fruit = health, right?

Except I was sooo wrong.

For something that’s thought to be so healthy, Jamba Juice is actually pretty bad for you! Some of the smoothies contain over 600 calories (a good chunk of how many calories you’re supposed to be consuming each day) and over 100 grams of sugar.

Let me repeat that. Over 100 grams of sugar.

To put that number into perspective, the American Heart Association recommends that men eat only 37.5 grams of sugar per day. Women should eat even less – 25 grams per day.

So one Jamba Juice smoothie contains almost four times the amount of sugar you’re supposed to be having!

Luckily, not all their smoothies are like that. If you choose the right smoothies (or the right juices) you can have a perfectly healthy and perfectly delicious drink! Oh, and if you want a boost, opt for the ones made from real food so you can get a nice kick of energy.

Don’t feel like analyzing the calories in the whole Jamba Juice menu? We made a handy chart just for you. Check it out below and let us know what you think!
